As a non-profit organization, Sav-A-Life relies solely on the generosity of individual supporters, businesses, and churches to carry out our mission and fund two service centers – The PTC in Vestavia and the NJWC in Fultondale. Why give?
Each year, 9000 women in the state of Alabama find themselves facing an unplanned pregnancy, many without the emotional, medical, or financial support needed to carry their babies to term. General Fund
Sav-A-Life was founded in 1980 by Wales Goebel. No one, especially Mr. Goebel, could have predicted the number of lives that have been touched by this ministry during that time.

In Honor/Memorial
To make your contribution in memory of a loved one or to honor someone special, simply include a note with his or her name and who we should notify about the gift.
Matching Gifts
As a 501(c)(3) organization, Sav-A-Life is eligible for many matching gifts programs. Follow these simple steps to participate:
- Check with your Human Resources department to see if your company has a matching gift program.
- Provide your company with a copy of our tax ID number: 63-0963150
- Fill out an application and send it with your donation.
Planned Giving
You can help further this ministry in the years to come by planned giving. There are many different means in which you can participate in planned giving. We can accept gifts such as property, real estate, insurance, and stocks. Please contact us for more information.
Gifts in Kind
Donations of diapers, wipes, children’s and maternity clothes, cribs, strollers, and other items provide for the physical need of our clients and their babies. We accept new or “gently used” items. You can drop off these donations anytime during our business hours.
Volunteer
Sav-A-Life, Inc. relies on the service and commitment of volunteers to carry out our important work. We utilize volunteers in every aspect of our ministry. We require at least 45 volunteers per week to function.
