As a non-profit organization, Sav-A-Life relies solely on the generosity of individual supporters, businesses, and churches to carry out our mission and fund two service centers – The PTC in Vestavia and the NJWC in Fultondale. Please join our mission by becoming a Ministry Partner, and donate today!
Each year, 9000 women in the state of Alabama find themselves facing an unplanned pregnancy, many without the emotional, medical, or financial support needed to carry their babies to term. As a result, these women will choose to undergo an abortion. Your gift to Sav-A-Life helps these women choose life. Read more about our work, the ministry your gift makes possible.
Sav-A-Life was founded in 1980 by Wales Goebel. No one, especially Mr. Goebel, could have predicted the number of lives that have been touched by this ministry during that time.
Other Ways To Give

From our Volunteers:
“I think it was Henry Blackaby who said, ‘See where God is working and join Him there.’ Well, God is working mightily at Sav-A-Life and I can hardly wait to see who God is going to bring in each time I go. It is such a joy to know God is using me for His glory as I allow Christ to live through me, sharing His truth and love with those who He is drawing to Himself.”
– Vickie Grimes
“I love being able to set the tone for the client’s first visit. The receptionist is the first voice a client may hear on the phone or the first warm smile a client may receive when they walk through the door. It’s a good introduction to this ministry.”
– Kristin Awbrey
“After training, I was very impressed with the whole process. I really didn’t know what to expect going in, but as a business man, I really appreciate the board members visiting each night. All the presenters were very knowledgeable. The materials were excellent and easy to access. The whole training experience was efficient and professional, but I could also feel the tenderness and concern for the clients.”
– Bob Zachow
“What a joy it is to work at Sav-A-Life! It is amazing how the simple act of being interested and caring toward our cients means so much to them. It’s also a joy to be in a place that so freely allows one to share the Gospel week after week.”
– Robyn Granberry
Your prayers can save a life! We believe that prayer support is the life-blood of this ministry. Please remember to lift our Center and work up in prayer.
“Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done by my Father in Heaven.” (Matthew 18:19)
We recognize that prayer is essential to our ministry and we thank you for your interest in supporting Sav-A-Life through prayer. By partnering with us in prayer, you are helping us seek the Lord’s will and protection for our ministry as well as lifting our clients up in prayer.
