More Than a Heartbeat

At sav·a·life, hope begins with a heartbeat—a mother’s tearful smile, a father’s sigh of relief—and the heartbeat grows into a baby because of you. When women and couples walk through our doors, they often arrive feeling scared and unsure of what to do next.

Last year, 357 moms at risk for abortion came to sav·a·life searching for hope. Raven’s mom was one of them.

Thanks to your generosity, they don’t face those moments alone. You make it possible for moms and dads to receive compassionate medical care, parenting support, and the hope of the gospel. You help them see that every heartbeat is the beginning of something beautiful!

When Raven’s mom, Nicole, came to sav·a·life, she was overwhelmed. Already a mother of two children, she was unsure she could face another unplanned pregnancy. She met with Beth, her advocate, and later our nurse, Michelle, who invited her to return for another ultrasound.

When the image appeared on the screen, Nicole gasped, “It moved!” That moment changed everything.

She chose life for her daughter, Raven.

Today, Nicole is pursuing her real estate license and caring for her three beautiful children—carrying the love, lessons, and hope she found here wherever she goes.
